Allan Hall celebrates 60 years of service with 60 Acts of Kindness
Allan Hall is extremely proud to be celebrating our 60th anniversary in the 2017/18 financial year and we have chosen to celebrate this outstanding milestone with 60 Acts of Kindness.
Our goal is to give back to our clients and the community on the Northern Beaches and beyond who have supported our firm throughout our history. We would like to do this with at least ‘60 Acts of Kindness’ throughout our 60th year.
We are encouraging all our staff to get involved in our 60 Acts of Kindness initiative through volunteering, fundraising and/or participating in activities or events that will benefit worthwhile causes which have meaning to our staff, our clients and our community.
These include activities such as group charity walks/fun runs, fundraising, blood donations, environmental initiatives, internal events that support clients or charities and after-hours volunteering.
We kicked off our 60th Anniversary/60 Acts of Kindness celebration in August, with a staff morning tea in support of the Cancer Council’s Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea and have since participated in a number of activities that support our pledge.
To date these have included a weekend supporting one of our clients and the Network Heaven charity in packing gift packs for Sri Lankan orphanages, a staff raffle to raise money for a special nipper board for long term member of South Curl Curl Surf Club, competing in Surfaid, participating in Movember, organising a firm wide drive in Red Cross blood donations, and holding monthly team drinks with gold coin donations in support of various chosen charities.
We are now calling for our clients and community to let us know how else we can help. So, if you currently support activities, charities or events, or would like to put forward any suggestions that the firm could consider participating in as part of our 60 Acts of Kindness target, please contact your Allan Hall advisor or email email@example.com. While we obviously cannot agree to every request, we are happy to consider all suggestions.
