This company runs action sports events, including the Australasian Supercross series and more recently, Nitro Circus live shows. They have been an accounting client of Allan Hall since the company began in 2003 and we have helped them with their business and personal interests as well as their self-managed superannuation fund.

Gordon Parish who heads up our Human Resource Services division has helped GAS review their employment contracts and has developed a comprehensive HR Policy and Procedures Manual and Employee Handbook to support their Personnel Manager in managing their people.  He has also provided recruitment services for a number of key positions. Mike Porra, the company CEO was particularly impressed with the fee for service approach to recruitment rather than the traditional fee based on a percentage of annual salary. In each case, the fee was less than one third of a recruitment agency and the assignment was undertaken within tight time frames. In addition, Gordon has provided valuable advice and assistance to GAS with a range of complex employment law matters.

Our Health, Safety and Environment division has completely rewritten the company’s Safety Management System and has assisted them with cross border safety management requirements. GAS is running events in six different states with differing legislation and Jamie Webster has helped with identifying the safety management requirements for each event in accordance with the state’s regulatory bodies.

Greg Wakeham is our preferred supplier of General Insurance and undertook a review of the risks facing the GAS directors and officers in conjunction with a specialist lawyer, who they have continued to engage. Greg has been able to obtain more comprehensive and cost effective Directors & Officers Liability insurance. He has assisted GAS to manage their various workers compensation policies and provided advice on which contractors are required to be declared as deemed workers. Most recently, Greg was able to obtain Public Liability insurance for the Nitro Circus media launch where Travis Pastrana did a backflip on a motorbike over a hovering helicopter!
